Man in court charged with attempted murder in Aberdeen park

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in Aberdeen.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after being found injured in Eric Hendrie Park off Springhill Road on Saturday 11 November.
Police Scotland said on Monday a man had been charged, and the Crown Office confirmed Alan Bruce, 51, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
He was charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.
He also faced an offensive weapon allegation.
Mr Bruce made no plea and was remanded in custody.
