Aberdeen man admits holding £1m cocaine haul 'for a friend'

A man has admitted his role in a haul of cocaine worth more than £1m which was seized in Aberdeen.
Jason Henderson, 31, was arrested in November last year after police received intelligence that he was involved in the supply of drugs.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard he said he was holding the cocaine for a friend.
The judge, Lord Fairley, deferred sentence on unemployed Henderson until 5 March.
Henderson told officers that the Class A drugs were due to be passed on to someone else the day after he was arrested.
Detectives had seen him in the city's Howes View and he was found to be in possession of cocaine and cash.
Officers then conducted a search at his flat in Ferrier Gardens, and found bags of white powder.
Advocate depute Jennifer Cameron said: "He stated he was holding on to the 10 bags of cocaine on behalf of a friend."
Further drugs linked to Henderson were also recovered by police, with the total haul weighing almost 13kg.
The court heard that it had the potential to yield a maximum street value of £1,042,280.
Henderson admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
The Crown made a motion to seek a confiscation order against Henderson, who has previous convictions for drug offending, to seize crime profits.
Sentence was deferred to the High Court in Glasgow.
