Wood Group PSN has been awarded an extension to a contract with Shell worth £75m over two years.

Aberdeen-based Wood will deliver engineering and construction services to St Fergus and Mossmoran gas plants.

The new agreement will start from April this year and is a continuation of a deal struck with Shell in 2007.

Wood said the contract helped secure hundreds of jobs and also demonstrated Shell's "ongoing confidence in Wood Group PSN".
