Clydesdale Bank 'to cut more Scottish jobs'

Clydesdale Bank is to axe more jobs in Scotland than it planned a few months ago, according to a source at the bank.
National Australia Bank (NAB), which runs Clydesdale, said in April that 60 jobs would go from Scotland, out of 1,400 roles to be shed by 2015.
But Scottish losses have risen to at least 100 out of 500 in the current round of negotiations, the source said.
The move comes as the bank cuts back on poorly-performing business lending and property divisions.
NAB, which runs Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks out of Glasgow, announced the job losses following a strategic review of its UK operations.
Meanwhile, trade union Unite claimed it had seen detailed plans for re-organisation that suggested 145 Scottish posts would go in the current round of talks.
It said 60 of those roles would go in the west of Scotland, including in Glasgow, Ayr, Falkirk and Lanarkshire, with the rest earmarked for Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Montrose and Perth.
