Oil firms Taqa and Shell announce developments

Oil company Taqa Bratani has discovered a new oil accumulation in the North sea.
The find, close to the existing North Cormorant platform, is expected to correspond to between 10 million and 30 million barrels, and be developed under the new field name Cormorant East.
Meanwhile Shell has announced it is to develop the Fram oil and gas field in the North Sea.
It is expected to produce an average of 35,000 barrels of oil a day.
First production is planned within three years.
