Jobs boost in prospect as Poundworld plans new stores

Budget retailer Poundworld has announced plans to open 10 new stores in Scotland over the next six months, creating 300 jobs.
Details of the shop locations have yet to be revealed.
The news came as the company prepared to open a new store in Robroyston Retail Park, Glasgow, this week.
Poundworld currently has 26 shops in Scotland and more than 315 nationwide. It plans to open 60 stores each year in the UK for the next three years.
Trading director Chris Edwards Junior said: "We're excited to open a new store in Glasgow at Robroyston Retail Park.
"We currently have stores at Glasgow Forge Retail Park and Glasgow Argyle Street and we're expecting our new store to be another popular addition to the city and the community living close by to Robroyston Retail Park."
