<bold>The Scottish Liberal Democrats have outlined a series of campaign pledges ahead of the 3 May local government elections.</bold>

<bold>The party's campaign focuses around four central pledges, accompanied by a series of manifestos from around Scotland, which can be found on the Scottish Lib Dem local websites.</bold>

<bold>The main Lib Dem pledges are:</bold>

  • Creating jobs.

  • Protecting the environment by meeting climate change obligations and boosting areas like recycling.

  • Proper reform of services for older people, as people live for longer and the population gets older.

  • Improve early intervention, to ensure children from all kinds of backgrounds get the support they need.
