<bold>The Scottish Liberal Democrats have outlined a series of campaign pledges ahead of the 3 May local government elections.</bold>
<bold>The party's campaign focuses around four central pledges, accompanied by a series of manifestos from around Scotland, which can be found on the Scottish Lib Dem local websites.</bold>
<bold>The main Lib Dem pledges are:</bold>
Creating jobs.
Protecting the environment by meeting climate change obligations and boosting areas like recycling.
Proper reform of services for older people, as people live for longer and the population gets older.
Improve early intervention, to ensure children from all kinds of backgrounds get the support they need.
