SNP conference agenda

The Scottish National Party's annual conference takes place in Perth from Thursday, 18 October to Sunday, 21 October.

The party faithful will hear from leader and First Minister Alex Salmond, cabinet ministers including Nicola Sturgeon and tank and file members.

Here is summary of the four-day conference agenda.

Day one - Thursday, 18 October

  • 14:00 - Welcome address by SNP leader Alex Salmond

  • 14:15 - Report of the standing orders and agenda committee

  • 14:20 - Resolutions

  • 15:15 - Address by Richard Lochhead, cabinet secretary for environment and rural affairs

  • 15:30 - Resolutions

  • 16:15 - Close of session

Day two - Friday, 19 October

  • 10:00 - Delegates gather

  • 10:30 - Resolutions

  • 11:20 - Address by Finance Secretary John Swinney

  • 11:35 - Resolutions

  • 12:30 - Close of morning session

  • 13:30 - Delegates gather

  • 14:30 - Topical and emergency resolutions

  • 15:00 - Resolutions (This will include discussions about an independent Scotland's membership of Nato)

  • 16:45 - Address by Fiona Hyslop, Culture and External Affairs Secretary

Day three- Saturday, 20 October
