• Electricity generation options for an independent Scotland (Options for Scotland) (March 2013) - The pro-independence think tank said a post-"Yes" Scotland could take a different path to generation.

• UK energy policy and Scotland's contribution to security of supply (Scottish government) (7 April 2014) - The Scottish government said UK ministers were failing to guarantee security of supply for domestic consumers and businesses by not maintaining a sufficient reserve capacity.
