New MSP: 'I William Archibald Bowman swear allegiance'

The Scottish Parliament's newest MSP Bill Bowman has taken his oath of allegiance in the Holyrood chamber.

The Scottish Conservative replaced Alex Johnstone who died last week after being diagnosed with cancer.

Mr Bowman's swearing in took place the day before MSPs embark on their Christmas recess.
