Scottish local elections: Davidson wants to 'give power back to people'
Scotland's Conservative leader Ruth Davidson said her party's local government election pitch was about giving power back to the people.
On the day of her party's local government manifesto launch, she told the BBC: "The manifesto is called Localism for Growth and it's about giving power back to local communities and local authorities to make decisions to help grow their local economy and support community services.
"It is about making sure we have the tools and the powers at a local level to do the best for out communities around us."
People in Scotland will go to the polls on 4 May to vote for their local councillors.
