- Published
As Holyrood campaigning comes to an end, pictures from the 2021 Scottish election trail show it has been a campaign like no other.
Covid restrictions put a stop to the big rallies and cheering supporters, but that doesn't mean the party leaders haven't been busy.
Here are some eye catching moments from the final two weeks of the campaign.

Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater hitches a ride in a canoe for a canal litter pick in Edinburgh.

Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie picks up a penguin or two on his visit to Edinburgh Zoo.

SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon lands a big catch at a fish processing plant during campaigning in Aberdeen.

Scottish Labour's Anas Sarwar gets a big catch of his own, as UK Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer joins him on the election trail in Edinburgh.

Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross also meets a top dog in Edinburgh, as this pooch says hello at a park in Musselburgh.

Campaigning can be a hungry business. Nicola Sturgeon enjoys some food at the Gurdwara Guru Granth Sahib in Glasgow.

And don't forget to stay hydrated. Scottish Green Co-leader Patrick Harvie grabs a pint at The Finnieston Pub in Glasgow.

Same again. Douglas Ross enjoys a beer in Edinburgh as restrictions on outside drinking are eased.

It's a nice cuppa for Alba Party leader Alex Salmond on a campaign visit to the Scotsman Lounge in Edinburgh.

Willie Rennie gets his kicks with a karate lesson on The Meadows in Edinburgh.

And Anas Sarwar revs up his own campaigning with a drive-in rally for supporters in Glasgow.

In Edinburgh, Nicola Sturgeon meets a little supporter on a tractor at Love Gorgie Farm.

Not to be outdone in the transport stakes, Willie Rennie finds himself a Lamborghini at Ingliston Racing Circuit.

Anas Sarwar won't get anywhere fast on this, but is delighted to meet mums and toddlers at a community centre in Maryhill, Glasgow.

No vehicles in sight as Patrick Harvie and Lorna Slater pound the campaign trail for the Scottish Greens in Edinburgh.

Douglas Ross hits the Edinburgh streets too, as former Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson joins him.

George Galloway, from the All For Unity Party, campaigns with his wife Gayatri in Gretna.
