Dumfries and Galloway Council department cuts examined

  • Published

A list of potential savings options has been drawn up for planning, housing and the environment in Dumfries and Galloway.

Possible budget targets for the department have come from consultations with staff and the public.

It is part of council-wide savings of up to £50m estimated to be required over the next three years.

Proposals include cuts to management costs, reduced funds to social landlords and a review of recycling.
