A ward at Dumfries Infirmary remains closed to new admissions following an outbreak of a winter sickness virus.
Ward 12 was shut after patients were struck down by the bug on Thursday. Since then a total of seven have been affected.
Only one continues to display symptoms, along with a member of staff.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway said appropriate procedures were in place and that the situation was being monitored on a daily basis.
