Lockerbie and Annan commercial bid response mixed

Process Plant and Machinery wants to create new facilities at its Lockerbie site

Plans for two commercial developments in Dumfries and Galloway have received different responses from councillors.

Both projects are said to have major economic and employment potential.

Scottish Enterprise secured approval for the creation of a business park near Annan's Stapleton Road.

However, a decision was deferred on Process Plant and Machinery's new manufacturing and storage facilities plus food processing and packaging units in Lockerbie.
