Barrel Law wind farm appeal lodged

An appeal has been lodged over the decision to reject a wind farm in the Borders amid fears it would interfere with RAF radar systems.
ABO Wind UK had its application for an eight-turbine scheme at Barrel Law near the village of Roberton rejected by Scottish Borders Council in March.
There were concerns about radar and also seismic monitoring issues.
The company said it was disappointed by the decision at the time and has now lodged an appeal against the refusal.
