Wickerman founder Jamie Gilroy dies in hospital after gun injury

The co-founder of the Wickerman Festival has died in hospital after an incident on his farm understood to involved a firearm.
Jamie Gilroy was found with a serious head injury on the farm at Dundrennan, near Kirkcudbright, on Thursday.
Police Scotland are investigating, but said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The Wickerman Festival has been held at Mr Gilroy's East Kirkcarswell farm for 13 years.
In a statement, Mr Gilroy's family said: "'It is with immense sadness that we confirm Jamie's death.
"This has come as a huge shock to us, to his many friends, and to members of the local and wider festival community in which he played such a vibrant part.
"We'd like to thank everyone for their support at this very difficult time.'
Police officers spent most of Thursday at the farm.
Mr Gilroy was married to Dumfries and Galloway councillor Patsy Gilroy.
