Moat Brae Peter Pan pirate ship plans approved
- Published
Plans have been approved for a pirate ship in the grounds of the house which helped to inspire JM Barrie to write Peter Pan.
The play equipment is part of a wider scheme to convert Moat Brae in Dumfries into a national centre for children's literature.
It is hoped the conversion work can be completed by 2018.
The pirate ship was approved by Dumfries and Galloway Council subject to tree protection measures.
