Dumfries scaffold worker rescued by firefighters

Firefighters have rescued a man after he was injured while working on scaffolding at a property in Dumfries.
Emergency services were called to the property in Moffat Road at about 14:00.
A police spokesman said the man had been working on scaffolding at a house when he was injured.
The road was shut between Edinburgh Road and Marchhill Drive during the rescue operation.
