Gilston Hill wind farm appeal lodged
- Published
An appeal has been lodged in a bid to overturn a council's rejection of a wind farm in the Borders.
The local authority rejected the proposals for seven turbines on land north west of Gilston Farm near Heriot due to landscape impact concerns.
Developers said the plans had a smaller footprint than a previous 16-turbine scheme refused in the same area.
A Scottish government reporter will now be asked to decide whether or not the project can proceed.
