Man charged in connection with A7 fatal crash

An 82-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash on the A7 between Galashiels and Selkirk last year.

Keith Holme, 90, from Melrose, and Janette Tait, 79, from Selkirk, died at the scene.

The incident - which involved a Honda Jazz and a Ford Fiesta - happened on 26 November.

Mr Holme was the driver and sole occupant of the Honda, while Ms Tait was a passenger in the other car.
