Queen of the South car park crash victim identified

A man who died in a crash in a football club's car park has been identified by police.
James Maxwell Johnstone, 76, from Dumfries, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident near Queen of the South's Palmerston Park on Saturday.
A man and two boys also needed treatment after the crash following a Scottish Cup tie with Dundee United.
Sgt Wayne Carnochan said: "Our thoughts remain with Mr Johnstone's family and friends at this difficult time.
"I would like to thank all members of the public for their assistance at the incident."
Emergency services were sent to the scene at about 17:50 on Saturday shortly after the conclusion of the match.
Three pedestrians - a man aged 46 and two boys both aged 12 - were taken also taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which were said to be "non-life threatening".
