Police warning over fake bank notes

Police in Clackmannanshire have issued a warning after fake bank notes were recovered from shops in the region.

Officers said the counterfeit £20 notes were discovered at several premises, particularly in the Hillfoots area.

A Forth Valley division spokesman said: "These notes are of particularly poor quality and we ask that, if you have the relevant equipment, to check these.

"Please ensure you use them to prevent you or your business being out of pocket."
