A child's pram has been set alight and destroyed in a series of deliberate fires in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire.
Wheelie bins, a Halloween decoration and a hanging wicker basket were also targeted on Wednesday and Thursday.
Police Scotland said "only good fortune" prevented the wicker basket fire causing major damage to a family home.
The basket was set alight outside Muirside Farm Cottage at about 20:00 on Wednesday.
The child's pram was set on fire outside the front door of a house at Dovecot between 21:45 and 22:00 on Thursday.
'Mindless act'
Officers said the "mindless act" had left the family with no means to transport their child.
The second incident on Thursday happened at the Lodge Ladywell between 23:00 and 01:00, when two wheelie bins were deliberately set alight.
The fire caused extensive damage to the rendering of the outside of the building.
A police spokesman said: "Fortunately no one was injured as a result of these fires, however it could have had much more serious consequences.
"We are eager to speak to any witnesses who may have been in these areas of Tullibody at the relevant times."
