Elderly couple disturb Dundee sneak thief

Police are appealing for information after an elderly couple disturbed a thief in their Dundee home.

The incident happened in Church Street, near the city's football stadiums, at about 02:45.

Police said a Samsung tablet, jewellery, a purse, a two-figure sum of money and personal items were stolen in the incident.

The woman was described as being between 25 and 29, and wore her hair in a bun on top of her head.
