Suspicious package forces evacuation of council building

Angus Council's offices in Forfar were evacuated after reports of a suspicious package.

Police, fire crews and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the Municipal Buildings in Castle Street.

Police Scotland said there was "no immediate danger" and that "appropriate actions" were being taken.

Cordons were put in place for a time, before being removed when the emergency services left the area.
