Man dies after being trapped under van in Montrose

The incident happened in Ferry Road in Montrose

A 44-year-old man has died in hospital almost a week after he was seriously injured having become trapped under a van in Montrose .

Dariusz Zamylko was working on the Citroen Relay in Ferry Road when the incident happened at about 16:10 on 22 April.

Mr Zamylko, who was from Montrose, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, but died on Wednesday.

Police Scotland previously issued an appeal for witnesses to the incident.
