Two charged over murder bid after suspected gas leak in Stenhousemuir

Police were called out to a property in King Street, Stenhousemuir

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with attempted murder after a suspected gas leak at a property near Falkirk.

Police were called to the scene in King Street, Stenhousemuir, at about 14:30 on Saturday.

Two people were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

A 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested and charged and are expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.
