Pensioner hit by car in Montrose dies in hospital

A 78-year-old woman has died in hospital three days after being struck by a car in Montrose.
The incident happened at a parking area near a bus stop on Teviot Place at about 16:35 on Thursday.
Police said the pedestrian was hit by a black Mercedes Benz A Class.
The pensioner, who has not been named, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where she died on Sunday evening.
Officers said no-one else was injured in the incident and have appealed for witnesses, external to come forward.
