Woman, 65, dies after being hit by car in Stirling

The incident happened on Sunday near the Blackgrange Roundabout

A 65-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in Stirling.

The incident, which involved a white Volkswagen Tiguan, happened at about 19:45 on Sunday near the Blackgrange Roundabout on the A907.

Police said the female pedestrian, who has not been named, died at the scene. The road was closed for around eight hours for an investigation into the incident.

Officers said the driver of the car was uninjured.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
