BBC Wales news website wants to discover how you view the world.

We are asking anyone with a camera to send in their digital pictures to turn into a picture gallery every week.

The images do not have to be linked to news events - they can be anything from your favourite view, your friends and family or your holiday snaps from around Wales.

We are building up a weekly record of life around the nation - check them out by following the link on the right.

Please include your name, where you live and brief details about the picture or pictures you are sending.

And please ensure they have a file size of at least 1MB.

The image sizes, in pixels, used in the gallery are 976 x 549, 549 x 549 and 412 x 549, so you may want to frame your image accordingly.

E-mail them to newsonlinepictures.wales@bbc.co.uk

You need to ensure that your submission adheres to the BBC's Terms of Use.

The BBC's web team will retain your photograph and contact details and will only use your contact details to get in touch with regard to your submission and its use by the BBC.

Your details will not be passed to anyone else.
