These are the school closures in Wales that have been confirmed so far by local councils on their websites for 18 January 2013. Please check BBC News Wales for up-to-date information on the weather.

All schools are closed except for those taking exams in Brynmawr, Ebbw Fawr and Tredegar.

BRIDGEND

All campuses of the University of Glamorgan in Cardiff and the valleys are closed until Monday 21 January.

Nearly all schools in Swansea will stay closed. However, Bishop Gore, Olchfa, Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive, Ysgol Gyfun Bryn Tawe, Gowerton and Morriston comprehensives are open to pupils taking exams.

All Gower College sites are closed, apart from Gorseinon which is open only for students sitting exams.
