Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler was not short of patriotic fans in Malmo, Sweden, where she was representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest
Some revellers in Malmo even dressed up as their heroine as they flew the flag proudly
Tyler - famous for 1980s hits including Total Eclipse of the Heart - belted out her Eurovision song Believe in Me in front of 10,500 fans inside Malmo Arena - and an international TV audience of around 125 million
Despite coming 19th out of 26 countries, finishing with 23 points, Tyler said she "did the best that I could do"
Back home in Swansea, local residents had gathered in Castle Square to watch the contest on a big screen
