Snowdon: Nine walkers stuck on ridge as cloud descends

Two mountain rescue teams have been called out to party of nine walkers who became stuck on a ridge of Snowdon after cloud descended.

The walkers were stranded on Crib Goch, a narrow ridge that has seen a number of fatalities.

Llanberis and Aberglaslyn mountain rescue teams were alerted after a rescue helicopter from RAF Valley on Anglesey was unable to reach the group.

The walkers are said to have food and water and waterproof clothing.
