Three new "family friendly" Rallyfest venues have been added to this year's Wales Rally GB route.

Family entertainment will be provided at the Rallyfests at Kinmel Park, Denbighshire, Sweet Lamb, Powys and Chirk Castle, Wrexham.

Organisers hope the events will make the rally appeal to a wider audience.

The Wales Rally GB is the British round of this year's FIA World Rally Championship and will last for four days between November 14 and 17.

The rally will be held in north Wales after moving from its base around the Welsh capital Cardiff.

The ceremonial start will be hosted in Conwy, with the finishing line set for neighbouring Llandudno.

The rally will include various routes through mid and north Wales, and organisers say the accompanying Rallyfests are designed to make the event more "family friendly".

Entertainment will be provided, along with a big screen, "catering village" and displays.

As well as having Rallyfests, Kinmel Park and Chirk Castle are also new spectator stages.
