Investigations have got under way after a second fire near the former Mainetti factory in Greenfield Business Park, Flintshire, which was severely damaged by an earlier blaze in May.

Friday's fire engulfed tonnes of plastic and a lorry at the site in Bagillt Road shortly after 01:00 BST.

A joint investigation between fire and police will take place after 16 tonnes of coat hangers and a nearby load of 10 tonnes of plastic were affected.

Nobody was injured.

Fire crews from Holywell, Flint and Mold managed to extinguish the blaze by about 04:40 BST.

The Mainetti factory at the business park, which recycles coat hangers, suffered major damage in the fire in May.

The plant later moved to the former Hotpoint factory at Bodelwyddan in Denbighshire.
