For one week only, Doctor Who fans in Wales are being urged to keep their eyes peeled for the Tardis appearing in towns and cities across the nation

The time-travelling police box will be landing overnight at secret locations in a tour to mark the 50th anniversary of the sci-fi series

On Saturday, the Tardis began its tour in Holyhead, Anglesey

On Sunday it materialised in Llandudno

As if by magic, the Tardis materialised in Wrexham on Monday morning

On Tuesday the Tardis touched down in Aberystwyth

Later the Tardis moved to the town's university campus where it attracted a lot of interest from students

St Davids was the next port of call for the Tardis on Wednesday

On Thursday an ice rink presented a wintry scene for the arrival of the Tardis in Swansea

On Friday, the Tardis materialised in the space-age setting of Newport railway station. It will end its tour with an appearance in Cardiff on Saturday, when The Day of the Doctor anniversary episode will be shown on BBC One at 19:50 GMT.
