Ex-MP Kim Howells calls for politicians to talk straight
Former minister Kim Howells, who was a Labour MP for Pontypridd, told BBC Radio Wales he was fed up with hearing Labour leader Ed Miliband and senior politicians talk in "awful management speak".
Mr Howells said it may do "professional" politicians some good if they shopped at local supermarkets and tried talking to "ordinary people".
In response, a Welsh Labour spokesman described the party as a "truly progressive alternative" to David Cameron's Conservative Party.
Mr Howells was speaking with BBC Wales Parliamentary correspondent David Cornock on the Sunday Supplement programme
