Welsh government loans to tackle empty premises 'blight'

  • Published

Funding of £5m is being made available to help reduce the number of empty premises in town centres.

The loans will be shared equally between four local authorities - Ceredigion, Powys, Pembrokeshire and Monmouthshire.

Housing and Regeneration Minister Carl Sargeant said empty and underused properties were a "blight on our town centres and communities".

The Welsh government scheme is aimed at empty buildings and sites.
