David Cameron defends criticism of Wales NHS failures

Prime Minister David Cameron has defended his attacks on the Welsh NHS, claiming his criticism of its failure to meet cancer and 999 waiting time targets was justified.

Speaking ahead of the Nato summit, he also spoke about the devolution settlement for Wales.

He said he had given the people of Wales the opportunity to have their say when they had asked for more choices on extra powers.

Speaking to BBC Wales political editor Nick Servini, he also said a deal on who would pay for rail electrification in Wales was close.
