Wales' unemployment rate has dropped to 7%, the Office for National Statistics , external(ONS) has said.
The number of people out of work was 103,000 in the three months to November 2014, according to figures released on Wednesday.
Across the UK, unemployment fell by 58,000 to 1.91m in the same period.
A Welsh government spokesman said: "Unemployment and claimant count are both lower than at the same time last year."
The number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance in Wales fell by 1,300 in December - the 22nd consecutive monthly fall.
Secretary of State for Wales Stephen Crabb said: "The overall picture is positive - the increase in employment and the fall in the number of jobseeker's claimants is good news but the unemployment figures show we have more work to do."
Analysis by BBC Wales' economics correspondent Sarah Dickins
Close analysis shows 11,000 people have come from economic inactivity and joined the unemployment figures.
What that means in practice is moving from "not working and not available for work" because they are sick or caring for someone, for instance, to "not working and available for work".
That could be seen as good news because they are now able to work, but today's figures also show 43,000 fewer people were working in Wales between September and November than 12 months earlier.
