New assistant chief constable for Dyfed-Powys Police

Dyfed-Powys Police have appointed a new assistant chief constable.
Liane James was previously temporary assistant chief constable of specialist crime at South Wales Police, where she started her career in 1990.
She has specialised in terrorism policing, including being the national lead for the crime, and has worked with the Association of Chief Police Officers in the area.
She was also responsible for mental health and e-crime in Wales.
Chief Constable Simon Price said: "I am confident that her varied experiences gained during her policing career and her obvious passion for policing will enable us to continue to improve the way we safeguard our communities."
