Surf Snowdonia starts pumping water into lagoon
Water is being pumped into a lagoon at a new surfing centre and "wave park" in Snowdonia in readiness for its official opening next month.
Testing of the wave function is due to start on Saturday at Surf Snowdonia, at a former factory site at Dolgarrog in the Conwy Valley.
The inland surfing lagoon will use technology called Wavegarden to drive waves up to 2m (6ft) high.
Conwy Adventure managing director Steve Davies explains more.
