Plaid Cymru manifesto: 'A programme for a generation'

One of the most ambitious and exciting plans for government since devolution, is how Plaid Cymru have described its election manifesto.

The party is the first to give its vision should they win power following May's Welsh Assembly election.

It focuses on things such as recruiting more doctors, providing free social care for the elderly and full-time nursery places for three and four-year-olds.

Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood said it is a "programme for a generation".
