Greens making 'slower progress in Wales', says leader

The Green Party has made "definite progress in Wales", its leader in the country Grenville Ham has said

While he admitted it has been slower than in other areas of the UK, he said votes gained in the local elections gave reasons for optimism ahead of the General Election on 8 June.

He told BBC Wales' Sunday Politics programme the key issue, like with all smaller parties, has been funding.

And with Wales a poorer country, meaning there have been fewer donations, they have "not had the money to compete".
