Boxing Day warning for snow and heavy rain across Wales

A weather warning has been issued for heavy rain and snow across Wales starting on Boxing Day.
The yellow "be aware" warning is in force from 18:00 GMT on Tuesday to 11:00 on Wednesday.
The Met Office said heavy rain could turn to snow in parts, with a small chance of homes and businesses being flooded.
Travel disruption is also expected due to standing water or snow.
Areas which could face disruption are Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan and Wrexham.
In an update on Tuesday morning, the warning is no longer in force for north Wales but has widened in parts of the south.
Workers from NRW are clearing rivers to try and minimise flooding
Teams from Natural Resources Wales are out clearing culverts and rivers of debris to try and stop flooding affecting homes across south Wales.
Meanwhile the 2017 Welsh Grand National may be postponed until January 2018 if flooding affects racing conditions at Chepstow Racecourse.
Earlier this month hundreds of schools were forced to close after heavy snow in parts of Wales.
