More wildfires tackled across Wales as hot weather continues

Firefighters have been tackling large wildfires across Wales.

A helicopter helped put out a blaze on Cwmcelyn Mountain, Blaina, Blaenau Gwent, while crews tackled a fire on another mountain during the heatwave.

Firefighters have been on Mynydd Twr mountain in Holyhead, Anglesey, after a wildfire broke out Sunday night.

Elsewhere, there have been fires at Pentre Halkyn, Flintshire and on Kilvey Hill, near Swansea. Nearby residents were advised to keep windows closed.
