Driver killed in three-car crash near Hay-on-Wye

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man died in a crash involving three cars.
It happened between Hay-on-Wye and Three Cocks in Powys, on the B4350 at about 15:40 BST on Monday.
Simon Dodd, 53, from Caerphilly, was driving a black Vauxhall Corsa towards Three Cocks and died at the scene.
A passenger in a Range Rover heading in the opposite direction, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but is in a stable condition.
A blue Vauxhall Zafira was the third car involved, and was also heading towards Hay-on-Wye.
The road was closed for a number of hours as police carried out an investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was travelling along this stretch of road at the time, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.
