Saltney hit-and-run probe: Three questioned by police

Three people are being questioned in a hit-and-run probe after a 10-year-old boy was left seriously injured.

The boy is in a critical condition after being hit on Park Avenue in Saltney, Flintshire, on Sunday.

North Wales Police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested and a 30-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were helping officers with their inquiries.

A grey Ford Fiesta - believed to be the car involved - will be forensically examined, police said.

Park Avenue has now reopened and the investigation into the crash continues.
