Three injured as crash closes M4 in Carmarthenshire

Three people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash closed the M4 in Carmarthenshire on one of the first commutes of the new year.
Four cars were involved in the crash on the westbound carriageway between junction 48 at Hendy to junction 49 at the Pont Abraham roundabout.
The collision happened at about 16:30 GMT on Monday evening.
The road reopened at 18:45 but caused congestion for a time afterwards on the stretch between Swansea and Carmarthen.
The three injured people were taken to Glangwili hospital in Carmarthen.
